I remember when they said that someone was killed in A company. We were in the bush at that time. I only knew those in my own platoon and the Officers of my line company.I can say that we walked some of the same trails. And as all calvary men do he has quenched his burning thirst at Fiddler's Green on his way to sit around the campfires with his comrads in heaven.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5680984228843410546.post-87756950404846452922012-05-06T13:03:20.101-04:002012-05-06T13:03:20.101-04:00Hello Chuck,
Thank you for serving your country a...Hello Chuck,

Thank you for serving your country and fellow soldiers. I appreciate your dedication and telling your story. I am friends with Cav Soldier who was with his best friend on the day he was kllied after stepping on a mine. The soldier who died was, Luther 'Chip' Bagnal. He lost is life was Feb 03, 1971 in Bin Duong, Vietnam. Hoping to find out more about what happened that day to help my friend and provide info to Luther's family. Locating a Roster or info of Luther's unit has been difficult, a real needle in a hay stack situation. If you knew Luther or any of his friends in 1st Platoon, Company A, 2nd Battalion of the 12th Cavalry, First Cavalry Division any info would be helpful.

I was not able to serve in Vietnam as I was only a child during the war. But I always been a supporter of the Vietnam Veterans through out my life.

Thank you for serving America,

Sincerely,
Nick Bragg

nbragg1@triad.rr.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5680984228843410546.post-75535928772969949222011-05-25T08:40:02.501-04:002011-05-25T08:40:02.501-04:00What can I say Chuck, but welcome home.
